Fran Speight
Project Development Officer

Fran Trained as a Stage Manager at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.  She worked for 10 years in rep theatre in the UK and Germany.

Fran’s role entails the creating, coordinating and evaluating of Brave Art Creative arts course for people with learning disabilities, supporting students on the course to achieve their goals and ambitions. 

“Every session is inspiring and different – both from the perspective of working with different artists to supporting our amazing students in their creativity. We did make a very memorable radio play with our students once called Change of Heart which included coming up with the storyline, sound effects and music. The result was brilliant!”

Something Fran is passionate about is “a walk in the country with my labrador Nessie, I have recently taken up open water swimming – I am hoping to carry on throughout winter..”
