An arts and heritage programme designed to support wellbeing through creative and mindful activities. Curious Minds offers participants the chance to enjoy exploring a variety of art forms whilst developing creative skills and tools to support mental wellbeing.

Following our highly successful programmes in Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Leiston and Saxmundham we are running our next programme at Ipswich County Library.

Working with professional artists, Michelle Brace and Eleanor Rodwell participants will explore aspects of the collections from the Food Museum in Stowmarket to inspire their creativity. The theme for the programme will be “Fruits” and participants can expect to work with a wide range of creative techniques. No creative experience is necessary as these workshops are an opportunity to connect, learn and develop new skills to promote overall well being.

Participants will also have the opportunity of a final exhibition at the library as part of the programme.

The programme starts on Monday January 6th 12-2pm and runs for 12 weeks ending on Monday March 24th.

Venue: Ipswich County Library, Wolsey Room, Northgate Street, Ipswich, IP1 3DE.

There is lift access to the Wolsey Room.

Please note that in the first session we will be just meeting each other, the artists and the Curious Minds team. Come and join us and see what you think of the programme.
We will make sure there is clear signage to direct you to the room in the library and there will be someone on the main door to greet you.
