An Important Invitation

Last week, the children at Edgar Sewter sent little letters in huge envelopes to the residents at Beech House – and just look at what the adults sent back; this is, indeed, a very Special Delivery.

The residents clearly enjoyed themselves creating and recording their ‘I am from …’ poems and making the envelope; apparently, they spent all day doing the activity and several commented that they really enjoyed it and that there was lots of laughter and it made them feel happy.

I enjoyed it very much. I’m looking forward to next week. I loved hearing the children’s letters.

I can’t wait to take the giant envelope to the children this afternoon and see their faces when we show them what the residents have made.
