Brave Artists send Greetings from Lowestoft
We had a lovely session with the Brave Art students and Caitlin at the Kirkley Centre.
The students watched a short presentation created by Suffolk Archives, all about how Lowestoft developed as a successful seaside resort.
There was lots of chat about how things had changed and stories about growing up in the town; one participant told us about how her mother saw a seahorse one day, the water was so clear, and that there were often porpoises swimming off shore.
The group made an array of wonderfully colourful, imaginative images to illustrate some of the attractions offered by Lowestoft; next week, they’ll be working with Max, to write messages inviting friends and family to visit the First Light Festival.
