Extra Time at First Light Festival
First Light is a brilliant free festival on Lowestoft beach, celebrating the longest day and much more, besides.
The Extra Time team was thrilled to be a part of that celebration, welcoming families into the Cosmic Pirate marquee and inviting them to join our Extra Time supporters club, by adding their self-portrait to the large cardboard panels.
In addition to the self-portraits, participants were able to make their very own Extra Time medal to take home as a personal memento of the day.
Extra Time is all about celebrating our rich footballing heritage, so this was an ideal opportunity to revisit the Archive All-Stars and create a table top football pitch for the likes of the Co-op ladies and Terry Butcher, along with bell-swinging Ethel and the Bally Boys to have a quick game.
It was a fabulous afternoon – thank you for inviting us and we hope to see you on the beach again next year.
