Happy Easter, everyone
Yesterday, 190 pupils and staff at Oulton Broad Primary School watched and applauded as the Special Delivery group received certificates and the Newsletter, celebrating all that they had achieved over the past ten weeks.
The group got to open the Easter cards sent to them by residents at Broadlands last week, but not before they watched (for the first time) the film of their trip to Suffolk Archives.
They were clearly very excited and pleased by it – as was the deputy head teacher who told them:-
Watching you on that film and how you worked at the Archives and the things you did, made me so proud of you all and you should be very proud of yourselves, for all you’ve achieved.
Just because it’s the Easter holidays doesn’t mean we won’t be spreading a little Special Delivery around Lowestoft.
On Wednesday, April 20, we’ll be running a collaged postcard activity at the Young Person’s Health & Wellbeing Event at the Kirkley Centre, 154 London Road, NR33 0AZ from 10am to 2pm – it’s free to attend and there’s lots going on for young people to take part in, so pop along and make your own Special Delivery postcard.
