Throughout the programme we will work with locally established early years facilitators (eg family hubs, nurseries, schools and independent EY groups) interested in working with music, movement and sound with 0-5’s and their families . We aim to improve wellbeing, child development and musical engagement for preschool children by developing the skills of selected musicians and early years facilitators. We will continue to host early years networking sessions, masterclasses and mentoring opportunities. These sessions will be delivered by professionals, artists and academics. Shared knowledge, skills and experience will develop our facilitators personal practice and creativity. This sharing will provide a resource to deliver quality musical activities in Lowestoft for pre-school children and their families and help us to identify gaps in EY music provision in Lowestoft.
