Quizzes, dances, and day dreams

It’s half term, and Jen leads the Extra Time session at Britten Court, in which the team completes quizzes, enjoys some elemental earth dancing and goes on a guided meditation of a post-match football stadium.

Enter the Archive All-Stars

Local poet (and erstwhile goalie) Dean Parkin introduces the Britten Court Angels and the Extra Time Roman Hill Football Club to the Archive All-Stars, a collection of Lowestoft footballing legends, including Ethel the Bell and a gentleman who played for Roman Hill in 1910.

Opening match of the season

The first Extra Time intergenerational session, in which the children from Roman Hill Primary school visit residents at Britten Court Care Home and together they play magnetic football and discuss their favourite teams, players – and half time snacks.
