Exploring Musical Woodland Environment

We worked with professional musicians and library staff to create musical activities for young children and adults.

Activity

1. Listen to the track with your eyes closed.
2. Share what you heard, imagined, saw, the musical journey you went on. Listen to other childrens’ and parents’ interpretations.
3. Listen to the track again, but this time move around your space, this can be by yourself or with other children or as parent and child. Explore your musical world with your feet, your hands and body.
4. Play along to the musical track, make your own sounds with your voice, a found object or an instrument.
