Warming Words at Hartismere Place Carer’s Café

Join us for a creative morning of conversation and fun inspired by warming words, calming colours and the best things about spring.

Led by poet Dean Parkin, it’s a chance to chat, lift your mood and share thoughts and stories to make you smile.

Dean Parkin, dubbed ‘Suffolk’s Unofficial Poet Laureate’, is a friendly poet and inventive workshop leader who works with all ages from primary children to the over nineties.
This session will be part of the Carers Café hosted by Hartismere Place Care home. The Carers café takes place once a month and is an opportunity for people living with dementia, their partners and carers to come together to meet like-minded people, make new friends, share experiences and ideas whilst enjoying complimentary refreshments including homemade soup.

This session has been made possible by funding from Suffolk Family Carers through the All Age Carers Strategy.
